TYR–TYRP1–TYRP2 melanogenic trimer

A rotating view of the predicted protein assembly used to test whether a high-confidence structure actually reproduces across independent model runs.

4-second loop · muted · MP4

The TYR–TYRP1–TYRP2 complex helps organize melanogenesis. The Lavinda Lab uses repeated AlphaFold 3 runs, chemistry-aware inspection of metal ions and glycosylation, and interface reproducibility to distinguish stable biological signal from a confident-looking modeling artifact.
